Craft Group 1
||Frogmore Community Campus
The Yateley & District U3A Craft Group started 10 years ago. It was originally
called the Needlecraft Group but because our members had so many different
talents we changed the name to just Craft.
We are very proud of the banner created to commemorate the 10th anniversary of
the Yateley & District U3A and were proud to present it to them.
All the Craft members had something to contribute to the design &
making of it.
Our group has 30 members at present. We are unable to take any new members
but there is now a second craft group - see
Craft Group 2
Activities include making cards, Victorian boxes, knitting, sewing, crochet,
beadwork, and patchwork. We are always looking for new ideas
to bring to the group.
From time to time we have speakers, usually with a special skill, to
talk and demonstrate to us. Recent subjects have been Japanese embroidery,
card making, new designs in knitwear, spinning, tatting.
If you would like further information, do call Gloria Rose.
The Craft Group meets at Frogmore every week in school time.
