The forums provide a place for you to 'meet' members online and discuss topics that interest you and them.
If you belong to an activity group and think that a forum would be useful, then ask your group leader to request one.
If you think that a forum would be useful that isn't directly connected to an activity group, then contact the web maintainer with your suggestion.
To join a forum you need to register. This is straightforward. It includes reading one of those annoying distorted sets of letters and typing them in. This prevents ill-intentioned people registering automatically.
Users of the forums are expected to behave with the sort of courtesy that comes naturally to Y&D U3A members.
